Pegasus Seiya review

Aight. Short review for Pegasus Seiya. Ordered it online last week and it arrived on Saturday. Seiya is the main protagonist of the old School 80's anime "SAINT SEIYA". The fig was manufactured by bandai and the one that i have is the HK version. Dun excatly see any problems with the HK version eventhough it is rumored that the Jap version is better. Anyhoo on to the review:

An angel!!

Seiya inside Tray

Seiya in pieces. Putting on Armor

Packaging - The Packaging is collector friendly. It's easy to take out the fig and put it back in. No annoying twist ties to deal with.. And the coolest part is it opens up like a book if u want to display it MISB.

Rider Kick this BIACTH!!!

FIGHT!!!

Kamen Rider Gang bang!!

Gang BAng 2!!!

Sculpting - The sculp on Seiya is spot on just like the anime. Proportions are all there so theres no fear of the BHS(Big Head Syndrome) which plague some 80's inspired anime dudes.

Paint - Cant really say much about the paint. Since The main figure is Mainly red, flesh tone and has brown hair. But overall it is good. No splotches anywhere. Its clean Yo.

1 Down 1 more to go!!

Another angle of the action

Down and out!!

Ultimate Victor Final bronze Saint SEIYA!!!

Articulation - Articulation wise. Seiya Kicks ass. With Well over 30 points of articulation and capable of doing poses that puts Marvel legends to shame, it's just plain insane. I didnt dare to make too many poses coz i wanted the Joints to stay tight. Only the head move ment was kinda restricted when u put on armor coz of the big 80's anime hair. But if ur an articulation freak it does not dissapoint.

Accessories - The armor comes on pretty easily. And they do look good on Seiya. Makes him look all the More Blinger and awesome coz of the chrome finish. And with the wings connected its Heavenly. Apart from that the armor pieces can combine to become the Pegasus(horse with wings) object, which is basically the representation of seiya's constellation. And also comes with Mini Statue of Athena's cloth(armor).

Play Value - Not exactly a toy for kids Considering some parts like the Wings and Circlet break easily if u dun watch it. But overall its play value or should i say Display Value is very high up there in the cosmos. Just don't let kids play with it. You will cry. Another thing you need to watch out for is the Paint. Do not rough house the toys. The paint will chip and again YOU WILL CRY!!!

Value - It can be a bit steep for some rookie collectors. But the price matches the quality, so i have no complaints. My advice, if u wanna collect Saint Seiya figs just stick to it. Do not deviate it will hurt. Trust me i know.

Overall - Amazing Figure, Die-cast parts. Shiny Chrome Finish(just dont rough house the thing). Price mathces Quality. Only Prob I have with it is..I wish some of the more fragile parts could have been made with Die-cast instead of plastic. But all in all I give it 9.4/10 Lemons.

Now that we're done beating the crap outta each other, lets have a group pic. everyone MACHO POSE ATTACK!!! :P
