Superman Returns..heralds the return of the ICONIC superhero to the big screen. I watched the movie and all i cud say is..it was Full of CHEESE & CORN!! The amount of corn and cheese in the movie almost made me wanna strangle someone. But then again It's superman, the only way you can ever present a superman movie is with insane amounts of the aforemention elements.Brandon Routh's acting was passable albeit stiff in some parts but overall superman returns is a good movie.

The same can be said about the 13" Hyper poseable superman action figure which I got recently for stupidly cheap. First up the packaging:

All i gotaa say is The box although nice, is not collector friendly. THE DAMN TWIST TIES!!!! Why cant they pack it like playarts FF8 figs man?? After like 20 mins of waging war with the packaging I managed to free supes from his box.

Anyhoo about the fig itself. Its a SOLID 13" Superman. The paint apps are spot on with no splotches anywhere. and the Joints are tight i mean really tight. But I did have a problem with the arms tho. There was this 1 particular angle that the arms just go loose otherwise the joints are tight. I dunno if its only mine or its the same with all the other figs. But problems like these are unavoidable with mass production figs.

Super KICK!!!

The Head sculp is good enough to be recognized as Brandon. Not perfect but good enough. Articulation wise its pretty good with lots of joints, to put it in many super poses. BUT because of the way they sculpted the arms and legs it was kinda hard to get it into some poses. But when u do get it, the fig has enough weight to stand without any help.

Another thing i was dissapointed in was the Hand or fingers to be exact. I was expecting the fingers to be individualy articulated instead of fused togehter. I mean even 1/100 Gundams have articulated fingers, so why not superman, especially at this scale?

But all in all Its a good figure. Not perfect, but good enuff for its size and price, it will look good on anyones shelf :)
