Welcome to another review of weird shit by MOI, today we're gonna check out a Jedi Light Saber from Hasbro. I bought this thing during the Star Wars EP.3 Craze and it cost me about RM139.90...and a whole month of tapau from home & Roti canai after the brokedom that came with it :P Anyhoo on the the Saber

The Hilt/handle of the saber is is a combination of Vader's and Anakin's hilt design. Fully extended it's about 3 feet long from bottom of hilt to tip. Now the main gimmick of this particular saber is the color change feature. You get 2 colors Blue and Red you can chyange to either color at a press of a button. Unfortunately The red light is not as bright as the blue..but it's all cool coz i like blue anyways.

Now the saber is powered by 3 AA batteries, and due to a complaint that the ealier incarnations of these sabers draining power insanely fast..this one has a power save feature. Where the saber turns off after 30 seconds if left idle. As for sounds you get the standard light saber power on/off hiss and clashing sounds when u tap/hit someone/something with it, Unfortunately no sound when u swing it around.

The Blade of the saber is made from translucent telescoping plastic that collapses into the hilt (for the most part). As for dueling with it yeah the saber is durable enough for you to do some LIGHT dueling. It is not recoomended that you go whacking people around with it because this will shater the blade. SO remeber LIGHT dueling only.

All in all a fine product from hasbro. Not exactly a perfect representation of the saber, for that you have to go for MASTER REPLICA'S version that cost about....a ton of CASH. But for cosplaying, fun and for use as a FENG TAU stick this saber just about OWNS yo.
